Baby Shower & Thomas the Train

This week I was working on a baby shower cake and a Thomas the train cake. The babyshower cake was for a college friend Brophy's sister in law. She gave me the invitation for the shower and wanted it to look similar. And the other cake was for my boyfriend Tim's good friend Sam's son's 2nd birthday. The Babyshower cake was: bottom tier- chocolate cake with oreo icing, and the top tier: vanilla with vanilla buttercream. The Thomas the train cake was: Vanilla cake with oreo icing. Happy Birthday Merric!

Cookie Monster & Disney Wedding

So I am a little bit behind on updating my blog, but my facebook page has been kept up to date--(search Beachy Cakes and you will find it) But today is sunday so I have plenty of time to update everything! Two weeks ago now I started working on a mass amount of cake. My good friend Kim had asked me about a year ago now if I would be able to do her sisters wedding cake, and of course I said yes! So after lots and lots of planning with her sister we had some ideas set in stone. She wanted a classic black and white cake in a disney theme and she bought a beautiful cake topper..we also went with an extra sheet cake of chocolate and vanilla cake with oreo icing just to make sure they had enough cake. She also wanted to do large cupcakes for both dads because the wedding day was hijacking birthday celebrations. And to top it all off.. a cookie monster grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner! Talk about a lot of cake! The wedding cake tiers were: bottom tier-Vanilla cake and oreo icing, middle tier- chocolate cake with chocolate peanut butter icing, and the top tier- funfetti cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream icing. The grooms cake was vanilla cake with vanilla chip icing and chocolate chip cookie crumble on the outside. Congratulations again Jenna and John!!!!!
Not Seen: Jack daniels & crown royal cupcakes with buttercream icing, sheet cake half vanilla half chocolate oreo icing.
