My brother Jared and his wife Courtney are expecting their first child in May, and they just had their baby shower today! My parents asked me to do their baby shower cake for them, and to go along with the nursery theme i made it a safari cake. =)
The top tier of the cake was red velvet (courtney and jared's favorite) with cream cheese icing, and the bottom tier was funfetti cake with vanilla buttercream icing.
Welcome to Beachy Cakes, I am 24 years old and self taught at making the lovely cakes that are shown on this blog. I created this so I could display photos of my cakes, and artwork so I could get my name out there. I want to eventually own my very own cake shop, or some other business involving being creative. If you live near or in South Jersey and you want a sweet cake feel free to email me at BeachyCakes.ab@gmail.com. Pricing varies. Enjoy!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Cake
My friend Jess from college had me make her sister's birthday cake a little while back, and her sister recently asked me to make a cake for her daughter Grace's 2nd birthday. She asked for a very hungry caterpillar cake and left the details of that up to me.
the cake was alternating chocolate and vanilla, with oreo icing.
Happy 2nd Birthday Grace!!!

Sesame street themed cake
I have been a little behind on updating my blog. I recently did a new cake and cupcakes for a family friend's granddaughter. They decided on a sesame street theme focusing on the characters Ernie, Elmo, and Abby Kadabby.
The flavor of the cake was devils food with chocolate icing and oreo filling
Happy 2nd Birthday Lucia!
