After getting home from Connecticut this weekend I had to jump right back into decorating mode for my good friend Alex's sisters going away cake. I already had the leg work done with baking and making icing, so all that needed to be done was assembling and decorating. This cake consumed my sunday, in a good way. =)
The cake is made of red velvet and vanilla buttercream icing.
Have fun in Italy Jess, and I hope you enjoyed the cake!!!!!!!
Welcome to Beachy Cakes, I am 24 years old and self taught at making the lovely cakes that are shown on this blog. I created this so I could display photos of my cakes, and artwork so I could get my name out there. I want to eventually own my very own cake shop, or some other business involving being creative. If you live near or in South Jersey and you want a sweet cake feel free to email me at BeachyCakes.ab@gmail.com. Pricing varies. Enjoy!

Who Lives in a pineapple under the sea?
This weekend I travelled up to Norwalk CT, to deliver 84 cupcakes, and one adorable underwater spongebob cake for Mr. Jackson Liam Deforge's 1st Birthday!!!!! The drive there was awful, GPS lied and told me it would take a simple 2 and a half hours to get there, and then in reality it took close to 4 and a half... But thankfully everything survived the drive, including me!
Now for the cake...
Jackson enjoying his cake with help from mommy
Jackson and Mom in matching spongebob shirts!
The cupcakes were make of funfetti cake with vanilla and chocolate butter cream icings, the cake was a white cake dyed blue, and a funfetti cake with vanilla buttercream icing... and patrick was made from rice krispie treats.
The party was awesome, and it was an all around great weekend. Don't know if I will be delivering to connecticut again anytime soon, but I wouldn't be opposed to doing it again if I got an order. =) Stay tuned for a farewell cake!

Jenna's 25th & a sneak peak of Jackson's 1st Birthday!
The end of summer is approaching way too fast, not that it means much to me being a full time slave to the man. It does mean a lot of my friends that I have been enjoying having around are going back to school. =( But it's not all bad, got plenty more fun cakes to create, and lots more in the future to look forward to... =)
My good friend Kim asked me last week to make a birthday cake for her sister's 25th, and even with the late notice I agreed to do it because I thought it would be fun. Jenna loves the color red, and enjoys all types of music, and also likes skulls and crossbones (who wouldn't?) So this cake was just a fun mix of all the things Jenna loves.
Jenna's cake was made from funfetti and white cake, the white cake layer dyed red, and vanilla buttercream icing.
HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY JENNA!!!!
Next for this week I have to make two cakes and 75 cupcakes... and also deliver to Connecticut for my good friend Kristen's son's 1st birthday party! So I have a lot of work ahead of me. But here is a little sneak peak of Jackson's cake!!!
